Robert "Bob" Jones

Robert "Bob" Jones, 78, of Union Township, NJ, passed away on January 6, 2026.
Robert was born on June the 15, 1947, in Columbia, PA, to the late Paul and Martha Jones. He was a devoted metal worker for Grinnell in Columbia, PA, where he spent many years of his life working with dedication and skill.
A deeply spiritual man, Bob found joy reading his Bible and talking to others about his faith in Jesus. His passion for fishing provided him with countless hours of peace and reflection.
He loved spending time with his family and close friends. Bob was known for giving people nicknames that still stick to this day. He would do anything for anyone who was in need and was often seen running errands and providing rides for those around him. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, often sharing his love of the game with those he spent time with.
Robert was the last surviving member of his five siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Rutledge and her husband Dan, as well as his beloved granddaughter, Aubrey. He was proceeded in death by his first wife, Sharon Jones and his second wife, Marion Jones who he cared for prior to their passing.
Though Bob's time with us has ended, his memory will continue to live on through his family, his faith, and the many lives he touched over the years.
May Bob rest in peace, embraced by the love of his family and the eternal grace of his faith.
