Robert Jordan Jr was born on March 13, 1939. He peacefully passed away at Novant Presbyterian on September 26, 2025 at the age of 86.Robert aka "Bob" and lovingly known by family as "Donald " or "Uncle Donald" by his nephews, neices. He was preceeded in death by his parents Robert Sr. and Ruby C. Jordan. His late wife Betty J. Jordan and previous wife Ethel Crosby Jordan, sons Robert "Pokey". Also preceeded in death by his brother Jerome "Jerry" Jordan of Springfield, Mass. He leaves to mourn his daughters Angela D. Jordan and Carolyn Renee' Jordan Worthy and her supportive husband(Harvey).Benetta Clardy & Catrinya Coates,Benae Clardy (daughters & granddaughter of late wife Betty J. Jordan)His granddaughter Ariel Worthy and grandsons Armond & Malcolm Worthy and his loving wife Miranda.Also grandson Marcus Jordan.His sisters: Willie Mae Jordan Young & Ruby Nell Jordan White.His brothers: John Jordan (Barbara), Lee Wesley Jordan "Shorty", William Jordan and his wife (Jayne). A host of nephews and nieces.Great granddaughter Mallory.He was especially fond, confided in and became very close to his nephew Jermaine thru marriage of his niece Joi Jordan McClelland. He also had a special love for his cousin Sherman Davis Jr. of Springfield, Mass. with whom he spoke often.Robert was an Army Veteran of the United States.Robert was a very hard worker, a businessman, skilled in construction; building property maintenance. Often mentored those interested in business ventures.Robert will always be remembered by his family for his love for family, and how he loved telling jokes and making people laugh.
