Robert Jordan

Robert Neal Jordan, 91 of Cawood, passed away on January 15, 2026 at Advent Health Manchester with family by his side. He was born to the late Lawrence and Annie Mae Franklin Jordan on May 21, 1934. Rob joined the Air Force in 1950 and served our Country with a combat tour in Korea and then a later tour in Vietnam. He retired from the Air Force in 1976 with 26 years of service. He then worked and retired with the Harlan County Bus Garage as a Bus Driver Trainer. He loved golf and believed in the Baptist faith.

Robert is preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters, Melba Pridemore and Billie Forrester; Children, Robbie Jordan, Julia Jordan and Matthew Jordan; Great Grandchild, Jace Jordan.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his Sons, Larry Jordan and Wife Penny of Berea and Mark Jordan and Wife Wynona Jordan of Somerset; Daughter, Susan Evans and Husband Shawn of Richmond; Brother, Kenneth Jordan of Mason, OH; Six Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 12PM to 2PM in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2PM with Mark Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery with Sean Daniels officiating. The Harlan County Honor Guard will provide military rites. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
