Robert M Jorgensen Jr - lovingly known as Bob, Bobby, Bobber, Bobness and Pop-pop passed

away unexpectedly at home on May 30, 2025.

He was born on May 22, 1968, in Oneonta, the son of Robert M Jorgensen Sr and Sally Darling.

He married Elise E Hotaling on November 28, 1992.

In his early life, Bob enjoyed fixing up his square body Chevy trucks, just to see how deep in the

mud he could get them. An expert hunter, he spent many days afield in pursuit of any wild game

his hometown of Middlefield had to offer. Fishing in Maine was one of his greatest enjoyments.

Bob was always proud of his many hound dogs, especially his prized bluetick, Fourway Grand

Champion PR Spring Creek Hooch.

A man of many passions, he enjoyed restoring cars and attending car shows, raising farm

animals, especially poultry and Katahdin sheep, flea markets, traveling with family, camping and

so much more. Later in life, Bob enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The Roseboom

Antique Power Days was a favorite weekend of every year.

Bob worked very hard to make sure his family was provided for. Starting out as a tow truck

driver for Kirns Body Shop, then logging and construction. Becoming a business owner and

succeeding in everything he did.

Everyone knew Bob. A man that you could never forget. A friend that touched the hearts of

many. Always willing to drop everything to help a friend, a neighbor, or a stranger. But especially

devoted to his loving wife, Elise of 32 years. Nothing was more important than family.

Survivors include his children, Michael Jorgensen and wife Chantel of Cooperstown, Nicole and

husband John May III of Westford, Robert C. Jorgensen and girlfriend Trynity Dewey of

Cooperstown and Ashton Jorgensen and boyfriend Joshua (Popcorn) Vickerson of

Cooperstown. Grandchildren, Ascher Jorgensen, Paisley Jorgensen, John May IV and Jamison

May. His mother Sally Reynolds, step-father John Reynolds, brother Mark Jorgensen,

step-brother David Reynolds, Aunts, an Uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and many great

friends.

He was predeceased by his sister Pam Jorgensen, father Robert M Jorgensen Sr, uncle

Thomas Jorgensen, cousin Eric Darling and cousin Shawn Hoag.

Keeping Bob's spirit in mind, there will be a celebration of life at the site of the Roseboom

Antique Power Days, at 118 Beaver St, Roseboom, at 2 pm, on June 28, 2025. The public is

invited.
