I am deeply saddened to hear about Rob´s passing. I met Rob the end of my freshman year in college when we both lived in Tower A at Hofstra. It was the end of his SR year and he was off to dental school after the summer. I fell hard for the intelligent, funny, car-loving (we both had older Toyota Celicas and a love of cars), kind, tall, handsome guy he was and he will forever be in my heart. My heart goes out to his mom, dad and sister and all those that loved him. RIP my friend.

Rob and I met at Hofstra University in 1981. We lived on the same floor in tower A. We had several classes together as freshmen and became fast friends. My roommate Teddy and I decided to share a triple with Rob our sophomore year. It was called the lounge and friends would always come by to watch GH. After that year Rob needed a single to be more dedicated to his studies but we were always friends. As members of Ep Sig we had a blast. Even though we haven't spoken in years I'll always cherish our times together and look forward to seeing him again someday. Ken Heffernan.

Rob was a special individual, so intelligent, so kind and always willing to lead a helping hand when a friend was in need. Truly one of the funniest individuals I´ve ever had the privilege of being friends with. Rest in peace Rob, we´ll all miss you! Mike Speicher

I´m so sorry for your loss ..Rob was an amazing guy when he moved down to Jersey he used to go to the North field diner where he met my mom and she would feed him dinner and a year later we ended up working together. When my mom died, despite whatever was going on, he came to her viewing, and I had both respect for him. he was a great guy in all my years. I don´t think I´ve ever knew a man who, despite everything that he was going through did the right thing Rob was a good man. He made me laugh. I miss you.
