Robert Keene Obituary

Born March 13, 1950 in Binghamton, NY, son of the late Thaddeus and Maxine Mack Keene.
Prior to his retirement, Bob was an inspector at Sandvik Steel in Clarks Summit, PA. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoy hunting and fishing. Bob cherished fishing trips to Canada and the time-honored tradition of rabbit hunting with beagles. Having grown up on a farm Bob had a life-long appreciation of tractors. He also loved plane rides with Rocky and passing the time reading his books. Bob's pride and joy where picnics at the lake where he always had the biggest smile spending time with his family.
He is survived by five children: George Sansky and wife, Jen of Rifle, CO, Trudy Butcher and husband, Nick of Harford, PA, Jason Keene and wife, Ellen of New Milford, PA, John Keene and wife, Joy of Harford Township, PA, and Jeremy Keene and companion, Erica Birtch of Susquehanna, PA; 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; two brothers: James Keene of Seattle, WA and Jerry Keene of Richmond , VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Penny Sansky; and two brothers: William Ferguson and Raymond Keene.
The funeral will be Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA, with his sister-in-law, Rev. Bonnie Resseguie, officiating. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA.
Friends may call Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
