The Keene family is celebrating the life of Mr. Robert Anthony "Tony" Keene born on July 18, 1951, in Mesquite, Texas. He passed peacefully on September 2, 2025, after suffering from cancer at Brentwood Nursing Home in Dallas, Texas. Tony was a life long bachelor and had no children. According to Tony, he had become a Christian at the age of sixteen while attending a Baptist church. Tony graduated from Mesquite High School.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert "Bob" Lee Keene and Imogene "Jean" (Phillips) Keene, both of Mesquite, TX.

Her is survived by Sister; Gracie Jean (Keene), Warren of Mesquite, TX.

Nephew ; Jason Skinner of Mesquite, Texas.

Cousin; William "Bill" Clyde Keene (Wife Diane), Who graciously served as Tony Keene's dedicated caregiver for almost twenty years While his cousin Tony Lived in various nursing homes in Dallas, Texas .

Tony Keene served his country in the Navy for 4 years. The Keene family honors Tony for his service as a caregiver for his grandmother, Gracie Mae (Jordan) Keene until she passed in Dallas, TX.

Tony enjoyed watching various sports on TV. He loved books and movies about the history of wars and the designs of ships.

The Keene family wishes to thank Carolyn Smith of Brentwood nursing home for her daily kindness to Tony and for faithfully serving as Tony's POA, effectively working out the details of his medical care.
We also are grateful to and thankful for the hospice team for their support of Tony and his family members.
