Robert Dudley Kelley age 69 of Tidioute, passed away on Saturday December 14, 2024 at UPMC Hamot surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Harold and Mildred Orr Kelley.

Robert graduated from Alden Central High School in Alden, NY and received an associate's degree in communications from Alfred State College. He served his community proudly with the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, the New York State Park Police and for 35 years at the South Glens Falls Police Department, retiring in 2017. 

Bob was active for many years with the North-South Skirmish Association and the Elzie Lynch American Legion, post #334. He spent countless hours hunting, fishing and teaching others everything he knew about the shooting sports. His love of the Buffalo Bills is proudly passed down to his family.

In addition to his parents, he’s preceded in death by his brother, Charles D. Kelley.

Robert is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Gloria Gardner Kelley of Tidioute; his daughter, Kathleen E. Niggli (Brent), grandchildren Kelley Niggli and Colin Niggli, all of Carlisle, PA along with beloved cousins Denise Fumanti and Donna (Joseph) Bielecki and countless friends.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the American Legion Post #334, 16424 US Route 62, Tidioute, PA 16351 or the N-SSA: Attention Paymaster 4675 York Rd., Lineboro, MD 21102.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on a date to be announced.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, PA 16510.
