It is with profound sadness that we announce Robert Frank Keno III earned his wings on November 25, 2023, at the age of 53. He was born to Robert Frank Keno Jr. and Arleen Chatman on November 21, 1970, in Stanford, California.
Robert attended East Central High School where he met his high school sweetheart Stephanie Laskowski at the age of 13. The lovebirds married April 5, 2003, and began their family of four earning the title "parents" to Brandon James and Jaelyn Paige. Robert and Stephanie shared a beautiful and adventurous union for 20 years.
Robert's magnetic charm and charismatic spirit left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His infectious smile could brighten the darkest of days, and his ability to make others feel at ease was a testament to the warmth within his soul. His charisma was not just a trait. It was a gift that he generously had leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. When he met a stranger, you best believe that without a doubt a friendship was formed.
Robert's love and talent in sports would form the foundation for his character, outlook, and lifelong friendships. From his childhood days he played every sport. He also coached his son Brandon in baseball, football, and basketball. He also loved coaching other children in his community in these sports. As a dedicated father and coach, he supported his daughter's development in challenging skills beyond his expertise, proving that his support extended far beyond the realm of gymnastics coaching.
Robert was considered a legend at East Central, and had a great passion for basketball, which led him to playing at the collegiate level and semi pro in Mexico. He was still playing basketball in the "50" and over league; must mention being from California he was a "Die Hard" 49er fan and had no love for the Cowboys. He also enjoyed fishing, western movies and always winning in cornhole. Let's not forget the extreme obsession he had with all thing's "sneakers" with a matching wardrobe.
Robert always kept a high spirit, displayed happiness, and strived to do the best daily. He was a hard worker and last held a position at Jay Family Trucking, where he worked as a truck driver. He was a loving and a devoted husband, supportive and proud father, provider and protector of his family, and a true friend to many that had the pleasure of being acquainted with him.
Upon entering the gates of heaven, he was greeted by his maternal grandparents: Charles Chatman Sr and Robbie Lee Rice (Ben); paternal grandparents: Robert Keno Sr and Ella Mae Coleman (Herbert); and father-in-law Lucian Laskowski.
He is survived by and to cherish his memory, his sweet and loving wife Stephanie, his children Brandon James and Jaelyn Paige, his mother Arleen Brooks (Dwayne), his father Robert Keno Jr. (Lillian), mother-in-law Caroline Laskowski and an abundance of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Robert will be forever cherished and deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Worked with Keno at the Auto Auction. He had this nice white drop top Mustang 5.0. Took me riding in it to go pick up a couple of auction cars. Dude made working there fun. Always with a smile. Always making people around him feel good. Guy will be missed.

I first saw Robert Keno while working security at East Central High School basketball games. He was an amazing basketball player with impeccable skills. He was an opponent's nightmare. Fast forward to 2008, that's when I became Ms Caroline's next neighbor and Keno's mother in law. Keno was now a successful young man with two great kids and a wonderful wife. I proud to say that I had the opportunity to know Keno. Rey g

Words can´t describe all the great memories I have had with Keno. One of the best memories I have of Keno is when he and I were in his backyard throwing pitches to Brandon when he was about 4 yrs old. And watching Keno´s excitement as Brandon hit those pitches over the fence. My prayers are with all of Keno´s family.
