Robert Luahiwa Kepaa

Robert Luahiwa Kakalia Kepaa, 78, of Hilo, HI, died at the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home on Sunday, July 27, 2025. He was born in Honolulu, HI and was a retired bellman with the former Naniloa Hotel. He was also a Veteran of the US Army and a member of the Keaukaha Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and former director at the Family History Center. Friends may call at the Hilo Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery #2. The family requests casual attire. He is survived by his: Brothers, John (Rita) Kepaa of Nanakuli, HI and Martin (Theresa) Martinson of Makawao, Maui, HI; Sisters, Josephine "Sweetheart" Mahi of Hilo, HI, Rose Manuia-Kuamoo of Hilo, HI, and Adriene Kainalu Ahu of Hilo, HI; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
