Robert Kesting

Robert Forrest Kesting, 73 of Muscoda, Wisconsin and Lebanon, Tennessee died Thursday, July 13, 2023 at his home in Muscoda. He was born on June 2, 1950, in Milwaukee, the son of Carl and Cornelia Kesting. Bob attended Tippecanoe Grade School and Bay View High School. He later went to the Milwaukee School of Engineering and did a tool and die making apprenticeship through MATC. Bob worked for Pioneer in Racine, Grede Tooling Center, Jacobson Textron, Danfoss, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and retired from Miller Coors. He also spent 6 years with the Air Force National Guard. Bob enjoyed playing cards, Friday Fish Fries, traveling, kayaking, car shows, fishing, campfires, and spending time with his family. Bob volunteered with the Tennessee Sheriff's SCAN program and was a member of the Backroad Express Riders.

Children: Michelle McIntosh of Mount Juliet, TN,
Jason (Candise) Kesting of Franksville, WI;
Five grandchildren: Parker Kesting, Austin Wilson, Ashley Wilson, Alyssa McIntosh, Alexis McIntosh;
Sister: Karen Kucharczyk of La Jolla, CA;
Many other relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Cornelia, brother Charles Kesting, and brother-in-law Peter Kucharczyk.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the Pratt Memorial Chapel in Richland Center from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Burial will be held at Arlington Cemetery, Milwaukee at a later date. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
