Robert E. Kilday, 85, of Bridgewater died Friday, January 2, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. He was the husband of Carol A. (Spada) Kilday.
Raised in Boston, son of the late James and Marion (Marsh) Kilday, he lived in Dorchester for many years before moving to Bridgewater.
He was formerly employed as a laborer for Laborers Local 22 for many years until his retirement.
Robert was a loyal man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved time spent around the ocean, both boating and at the beach.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; 3 children, Robert Kilday, Jr., Lisa Johnson, and Jodi Kilday; 7 grandchildren, David, Jordan, Bobby, Katie, Matthew, Brandon, and Ryan; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Margaret Lorraine DeCarter, Dorothy Powers, Norma Walraven, James Kilday, Barbara Anderson, and Nancy Bryant.
