Robert Kleinert Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mountain View Funeral Home & Cemetery on Mar. 5, 2025.
Robert L "Bob" Kleinert, passed away on December 26th, 2024 in the company of family and friends.
Robert was born and raised in the area surrounding Yuba City, California. He was an only child to his parents Robert G. Kleinert Jr and Caroline M. Kleinert.
Directly after high school, Robert was drafted into the United States Army and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. Robert learned to drive trucks in the Amy and made life long friendships. During his lifetime, Robert worked in law enforcement, and spent many hours behind the wheel of a "Big Rig". He worked for and retired from UPS in Salt Lake City.
Robert has always been a big fan of motor sports. He followed the Outlaw circuit in his younger years and was devoted to the NHRA drag races, attending the drags in Las Vegas with friends every year. He would attend races when ever he had the chance. When he wasn't at races Bob would be on his Harley (except for a brief interlude with a BMW, we don't talk about) He loved to take the trip to Sturgis for the rally and attended multiple years. He was very patriotic and always had eagles and flags painted on his motorcycles and flew a flag in his front yard. Bob was an avid collector of Budweiser steins, Harley Davidson poker chips and t-shirts, and all kinds of racing memorabilia. But most of all, Bob had the biggest heart of anyone I know. He had many friends all over the country who he loved like family and they retuned that love. He will be remembered as a man who loved, his friends, his family, and his country.
A memorial service is being held at Mountain View Funeral Home, 7900 E Main Street, Mesa, AZ, 85207 Saturday March 8th at 11am.There will be a reception following.
Robert's final resting place will be with his parents at Sierra View Mortuary and Memorial Park, in Olivehurst, CA. He will be laid to rest after a final motorcycle ride with close friends and family, in May.

Brother Bob!

I was saddened to find out of your passing from my wife. She looked for your obituary and waited till i was with her in person to update me.
You were a brother in riding Harleys, fishing and hunting. You stayed with us in TX and we rode the Three Sisters, you on Root and Deanna and I on Barra. You also were so proud to be a PHX Coyote fan. Reminding me how my Wild would lose to your Yotes. I have uploaded some of your pictures that you shared.....Ride High my friend. Thanks for being who you were to me.
Your Brother
