Robert Klos Obituary
He was a graduate of RIT where he later became Assistant Basketball coach and went on to start RIT's first golf team. He was initiated into RIT's Sports Hall of Fame. Bob was also a High School Football official for over 30 years and was inducted into the Section V Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
In 1974, he and Alice purchased Sugar Creek Glen Campground in Dansville, NY where they spent the next 30 eventful years, Bob devoting the bulk of his time to his full time job as Executive Director of the Campground Owners of NY while Alice managed the campground.
He will be greatly missed by his family and his innumerable friends.
Family and friends are invited to call on FRIDAY, February 4, from 4-6PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S). Bob's Celebration of Life will be held on SATURDAY, February 5, at 11AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment private. Alice and family, Jill and I were deeply saddened to hear of Bob's passing. We would not have missed attending for anything but having just tested positive for Covid 19 we will not be able to join you in the celebration of life.
We have so many fond memories of the times spent with Bob and Alice over the many years of friendship. Regrets we have not been closer together to see you more often these past few years. Bob was a wonderful friend and even a mentor to me in so many ways. He will be missed. Rest in peace my dear friend!

My heart is breaking. It's like losing my dad all over again. So so many wonderful memories of all of us growing up together. So much love and prayers to the Klos family.

Alice and family we were saddened to hear of Bob´s passing. What a guy! always positive and treated you like you were his best friend. So many memories of you 2 with my parents. Bob´s legacy will carry on through many.

I am very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Bob was the President of RCCFO when I was first started officiating football and I learned so much from working games with him. As the years went on we became good friends and I always enjoyed when Bob would be at games I officiated and we had the chance to chat. Bob was a great man with good sense of humor. God bless you my friend.
