Robert Joseph “Bobby” Langen, Jr. May 17, 1955 – May 5, 2025
Robert Joseph “Bobby” Langen, Jr., 69, of Hutchinson Island, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025. Born on May 17, 1955, in Rockville Centre, New York.
Bobby grew up in East Meadow, New York, and graduated from East Meadow High School. He went on to work as a dispatcher, a role that suited his sharp mind and attention to detail. Of all his professional endeavors, he especially cherished his time with Four Seasons Messenger Logistics.
A lifelong and passionate New York Mets fan, Bobby brought that same enthusiasm to the sidelines of his grandchildren’s games and activities. He found his greatest joy in being present for his family, cheering them on, and sharing in their lives.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Langen, of Hutchinson Island, FL; his daughters, Elizabeth (Michael) Piccinnini of Medford, NJ, and Jessica (Carmine) Pero of Mt. Sinai, NY; and his adored grandchildren: Robert, Matthew, and Daniel Piccinnini, and Ryan, Juliana, and Katelyn Pero. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Robert Langen, Sr., and his siblings, Richard, Linda, Karen, and Marty Langen.
In memory of Bobby, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, a cause close to his heart.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
