Edith Manley Johnson

Edith Manley Johnson, 76, of Fort Pierce, Florida, went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2025. She was born on October 2, 1948, in McDowell County, North Carolina, to the late William Manley and Selma Carver Manley.
Edith was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lester Johnson; her sister, Ashleigh Lindley; and her daughter-in-law, Rena Johnson.
She is survived by her three daughters, Brenda Player (James), Cheryl Lail-Komorny (David), and Kimberly Presnell (Vernon), as well as her two children by marriage, Steve Johnson and Duane Johnson (Sandy). She also leaves behind her cherished siblings, Joyce Manley Creasman and George Manley. Edith's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Brandon Player, James "Joey" Player (Alyssa), Amanda Lovinger (Daniel), Maxwell Komorny, Alan Johnson (Amber), and Mikayla Johnson, as well as her great-grandchildren, Millicent and Marlowe Lovinger, and Michael and Evy Johnson.
Edith's greatest joy was her family, and she was deeply proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the love she gave so generously.
A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce, FL.
