Jane Banack Obituary
Jane Sloan Banack, 85, passed away on October 24, 2025 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Banack was born in and resided in Fort Pierce. Jane graduated from Dan McCarty High School and attended the University of Florida. She was an owner of Banack Insurance Agency where she loved interacting with her customers.
Survivors include her sons, Jeff Banack (Melanie Banack), and Greg Banack (Trish Hoxie), all of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandson, Alex Banack of Port St. Lucie, FL; granddaughter, Emma Dettbarn of Los Angeles, CA; sister-in-law, Florence (Fred) Van Antwerp of Vero Beach, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Alexander R. (Pete) Banack and her sisters Jeane Graves and Julia Holloway.
Charitable contributions can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
