Daniel M. Johnson

Daniel M. Johnson, a cherished father, son, brother and uncle, passed away on October 20, 2025, in West Palm Beach, FL, at the age of 52. He was born on December 4, 1972, in Mt. Vernon, NY to Floyd D. Johnson, who predeceased him in 2022, and Maryanne E. (Silviotti) Johnson.
Raised in a loving home, Daniel grew up alongside his brothers, Michael and Joseph. His education at St. Patrick's Semi Military Academy in Harriman, NY and Lakeland High School in Shrub Oak, NY, laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
Daniel's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish a successful self-employed package delivery service, where he was known for his reliability and dedication.
Beyond his professional life, Daniel was a devoted family man. His daughter, Isabella Nicole Johnson, was the light of his life. His nieces and nephews, JoAnna Rose, Megan, Abigail, Jean Nicole and Julian Vincent all held a special place in his heart.
Daniel's interests were many, but above all, family was the cornerstone of his existence and he believed in the power of kinship. As the famous poet Maya Angelou once said, "Family isn't an important thing. It's everything."
Daniel M. Johnson's memory will continue to inspire those who knew him to cherish their loved ones and to make the most of every moment they are given.
As we bid farewell to Daniel, we celebrate his life as a man who was well loved. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, but the memories he created will forever live on in those who were fortunate to know and love him. Rest in peace, Daniel M. Johnson; your legacy will endure through the lives of those you have left behind.
Visitation will take place on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Home, 418 Route 6 (GPS US-6), Mahopac, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 221 East Lake Boulevard, Mahopac, NY.
Following the Mass, Daniel will be escorted to his final resting place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY.
