Chris Savva Obituary
Chris P. Savva, 83, of Cortlandt Manor, NY passed away on May 4, 2024. He was 83 years of age.
Chris was born on April 29, 1941, in Peekskill, NY to Philip and Mary Moraitis Savva.
He was a graduate of Lakeland High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy. He later took over the family business in 1974 and became the sole proprietor of the Katonah Shoe Repair in Katonah,
NY for nearly 40 years.
On September 14, 1968, he married Pamela M. Savva at St. Columbanus Church in Cortlandt Manor.
In his spare time, he loved spending time with his family and friends and being outdoors while hunting, fishing, and camping.
He is survived by four children; Chris (Tammi) Savva, Jr. of Hopewell Junction, NY, Kevin (Jennifer) Savva of New Rochelle, NY, Kimberly (Kevin) Howard of Raleigh, NC, and Amy (Michael) Kuchera of Fishkill, NY. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; Steven and Dylan
Savva, Hudson and Ellis Savva, Kaleb and Kolby Howard, and Cayleigh, Brayden, and Avery Kuchera.
He is predeceased by his wife, Pamela M. Savva, and brother, John G. Savva.
Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY, on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Private Cremation Ceremony to follow.
Interment and rendering of Military Honors will take place at Assumption Cemetery 1055 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 10:00 am.
