Cherry Lynn Chandler

Cherry Lynn Chandler, who steadfastly anchored her faith in the love of Christ, returned to her Heavenly Father on October 30, 2025, after a lifetime of bringing warmth and laughter to the lives she touched. Born on January 19, 1953, in the sunlight of Fort Pierce, Florida, Cherry was the embodiment of grace and joy to all who knew her.
Cherry was the heart of her family-a lineage graced by her presence and forever marked by her departure. Although she steps forward to reunite with her parents, Eugene Turner Chandler Sr. and Leila Virginia Chandler, her brother Eugene Turner Chandler Jr., Bruce Franklin Chandler, and sister Sandra Kay Chandler, who all predeceased her, Cherry's light continues to shine in the lives of those she leaves behind. Her daughters, Brandi Lynn Wagner (Dan) and Melina Chandler (Jamie); her cherished grandchildren, Audri Cozine (Jake), Duane Kelly Jr (Megan), Summer Chandler; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Ezmerelda and Tyson Kelly will miss her deeply. Cherry's love and lessons will be a guiding star for her brother, Keith Chandler (Lisa), as well as her adoring nieces, nephews, and expansive family.
Cherry spent her professional years serving smiles and stories at the Jetty Bar, where she was not just staff but a friend and bright spot to the regulars and the occasional wanderer who chanced upon her kindness. Her unwavering commitment to her faith saw her as a dedicated member of the Westside Church. Cherry's passion was sharing the Gospel and the love of Jesus with everyone she met.
An outdoor enthusiast, Cherry took every opportunity to bask in God's creation, whether it was sandy shorelines or the quiet solitude of fishing. Above all, her family was her sanctuary, and she taught them that "We love because He first loved us," a truth penned by the apostle John in the New Testament. Through her loving, faith-filled, and spirited existence, she demonstrated this divine love daily.
Cherry Lynn Chandler experienced a life rich in fellowship, purpose, and profound faith. Today, as we remember her earthly journey, we rejoice that she has found her eternal peace and her joy made complete in the presence of her Savior. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God-a beatitude that Cherry lived by and now, undoubtedly, experiences in its fullest measure.
A celebration of Cherry's life will be held at a later time.
