Robert Langston Obituary
Robert Edward "Bobby" Langston passed away December 13, 2023 at the age of 86. He was born December 5, 1937 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late R.E. and Wilma Langston.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Will Langston, Joe Bill Langston, Roberta (Buddy) Flutey, Eddie Langston.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Virginia Caver Langston; children, Charlotte (Jeff) Dunkin, Wade (Kimberly) Langston and Tammy (Terry) Seales; grandchildren, Belinda (Jesse) Smith, Jennifer (Richard) Carter, Bradly (Amanda) Seales, Brittany Seales, Britton (Makayla) Langston and Kelsey (Khalid) Morton and seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; siblings, Freddie (Lisa) Langston and Dolores Penman and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church in Independence with Bro. Mac Martin officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Bradly Seales, Britton Langston, Jeff Fancher, Ben Simmons, Jr., Bobby Dale Caver and Fletcher Wyatt. Honorary pallbearer will be Cooper Langston.
