Robert Edward Lauck

Robert Edward Lauck passed away peacefully at St. Francis/KU Medical Center on April 24, 2025. Bob was very fortunate to have met his sweetheart at a young age and was very loved by his wife of 62 years, Nyla Sue Lauck.
Bob was born on October 18, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri to parents, Edward Henry Lauck and Ruth (Jordan) Lauck. Bob graduated from Normandy High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Bob served his country in the United States Air Force. Bob and Nyla were married in Topeka on November 2, 1963. To this union, they were blessed with a daughter Lisa Marie Lauck. Bob worked for the United States Postal Service, owned many rental houses, worked as a union Glazer and owned and operated a painting business. He was a member of union local 558. Bob enjoyed working with his hands and fixing things. Bob and Nyla had a houseboat cabin on the lake and loved to travel to every state in the United States. He also loved showing his van, a 1955 Ford, at various car shows.
Bob was proceeded in death by his parents and brother Jim Lauck. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Nyla Sue Lauck and daughter Lisa Marie Lauck, sister Carol Price and brother Tom Lauck. His family will be having a private family gathering at a future date.
