Martha Lauck Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brater-Winter Funeral Home (Sayler Park) on Dec. 23, 2025.
Martha Mary Lauck, a cherished matriarch and a source of inspiration to all who knew her, will be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion. She peacefully departed this life on December 21, 2025, in her beloved home in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on July 25, 1936, Martha's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with faith, family, and music.
A proud graduate of Oldenburg Academy in Indiana, Martha displayed an early aptitude for music-a passion that would enrich her entire life. Her professional journey began at Cincinnati Bell, but it was in motherhood where she truly flourished, embracing her role with grace and joy as she raised her three beloved children: Ron Jr., Marsha, and Mary Beth.
Martha was the youngest daughter of 16 siblings, and her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her immediate family. Her home became a sanctuary of warmth, where family and friends were greeted with open arms and generous hospitality. Her commitment to her Christian faith was unwavering, and she dedicated countless hours to volunteering at St. Al's on the Ohio. Serving as the music coordinator and choir director, Martha shared her exquisite voice and leadership with her church community, touching lives through the power of song.
Her tireless efforts made her a pillar of the church, where she planned funerals with compassion, supported school initiatives, organized community events, and even found joy in calling bingo, all while bringing comfort and laughter to those around her. Martha's zest for life also led her to enjoy water exercise classes, where she used her natural gift for teaching to uplift others through movement and song.
Martha's enduring love story with her husband, Ronald F. Lauck, spanned 68 beautiful years. Together, they created a life filled with shared adventures, laughter, and cherished memories with their family. Whether cheering Ron on at softball games or exploring the beauty of the country, Martha remained his steadfast supporter and partner. Her grandchildren filled her with pride and happiness, and she nurtured each of them with her affection and wisdom.
Martha is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 68 years, Ronald F. Lauck. Wonderful children: Ron Jr. (Mari) Lauck, Marsha (late Doug) Hyland, and Mary Beth (Tom) Schmidt; cherished grandchildren: Chris Brennan, Jenna (Jeff) Touwsma, Kara (Clay) Bailey, Chad (Cara), Jason (Gina), Joshua, and Matthew Hyland, Karly (Tim) Ernst, Tony (Krysten), and Daniel (Kaitlyn) Schmidt, Kelly (Alex) Massa, and Michael (Emily) Schmidt. 22 beautiful great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings: Mary Ann (late Jim) Spille, Edward, Vincent (Diane), and Paul (Peggy) Knue; sisters-in-law Linda Knue * Betty Sehlhorst; brothers-in-law: Donald (late Joanne) and Frank (Phyllis) Lauck and numerous nieces and nephews.

Martha always had beautiful smile at the 930 masses, and brought joy to all. I married into the Sayler Park Family, and first met Ron on the opposite side of town! But he always said hello and waved! Our thought and prayers go out to your family during your time of grief! Respectfully George & June Phelps
