Robert "Bob" J. Lavallee, Sr., 88, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. His wife, Barbara T. (Maynard) Lavallee predeceased him in 1996. He is survived by his companion Carol Stuart of Spencer; his 3 sons: Robert J. Lavallee, Jr and his wife Cheryl of Bourne, Richard A. Lavallee and his wife Christina of East. Brookfield and Ronald M. Lavallee and his wife Cheryl of South Carolina; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His 2 sons: Raymond Lavallee and Rene Lavallee; 1 grandson, R.J. Lavallee and his 10 brothers and sisters have all predeceased him.

Robert was born and raised in Winooski, VT the son of the late Joseph R. and Esther (Brisson) Lavallee. He and his siblings all worked at the family General Store and Bob was a talented guitar player performing in many bands that travelled throughout New England. He settled in Spencer, MA with his family and he worked many years with Coughlin Electric in Worcester and then started his own business, Lavallee's Appliances, working until his retirement in 2023. Bob was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish and the Knights of Columbus #118 in Spencer. He enjoyed driving his 1970 Dodge Charger and entering it into many Vintage Car Shows and spending time with his family.

A funeral service is Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00am in J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terrace, Spencer, MA 01562. A calling hour is 10-11:00am prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Spencer Senior Center, 68 Maple Street, Spencer, MA 01562.
