BALLSTON LAKE - Robert M. Lawless, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 31, 2025 at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 27, 1959 to the late John and Helen Lawless.
Robert was a 1977 graduate of Colonie High School. He married Pamela B. Moak in 1982. Robert loved being a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time and playing with the grandkids. He also enjoyed working on old cars, traveling to Daytona Beach and Virginia Beach. Robert worked for the NYS Dept. of Transportation. He loved fishing with the boys and riding motorcycles. He liked to watch Judge Judy, On patrol Live and Bugs Bunny.
He is the husband of Pamela Moak Lawless, father of Michael and Kristopher (Kelly) Lawless, brother of John, Richard (Sharon) Lawless, Leslie (Bill) Mullarkey and the late Steven Lawless. He is the proud grandfather of Hunter W. Galloway, Brianna, Adam and Zachary Martin Lawless. Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services are Thursday January 15th at 1:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Visitation is from 12 to 1 pm at the funeral home. To leave a message for the family, visit www.CannonFuneral.com
