Robert James Legler

Robert James Legler, age 76, of North Huntingdon, PA, died on Friday, May 30, 2025. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on December 10, 1948, and was the son of the late Robert Andrew and Leona Frances Nedobylek Legler. Robert proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially golfing, fishing, camping, and riding motorcycles. He also loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Toby.

Robert is survived by his wife, Julie McDargh Legler of North Huntingdon, PA; children, Christina Legler of Greensburg, PA; Andy Legler of Greensburg, PA; Mike (Carrie) Legler of Green Cove Springs, FL; grandchildren, Isaiah Skillings; Lily Skillings; Breonna Sticca; Michael Legler; Abby Legler; and brother, Daniel (Susan) Legler of Pittsburgh, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 200 Leger Road, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
