Robert “Bob” N. Lemay, 57, of Pembroke, NH, passed away at Granite VNA Hospice House on October 3, 2024. Born in Manchester, NH on June 24, 1967, he was a son of the late Robert A. and Shirley (Champagne) Lemay.

Robert was raised in Manchester and attended West High School. He had a varied career including employment as a truck driver for Georgia Pacific and as a contract writer for Asplundh Tree Service. He enjoyed working on trucks and cars, watching movies, and relaxing at home. He had several collections, including a collection of Bowie knives, interesting pocket watches and zippo lighters. He was fond of exotic animals, especially eagles and wolves, and some of his pets over the years included stingrays, a macaw, a hairless cat and a variety of snakes. Robert loved being outside and spending time flying kites and fishing at the beach. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his sense of humor, including his funny singing and dancing that he would do to make people laugh.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Melissa Andrijanic and her husband Boris of Bow and Crystal Lemay of Laconia; his siblings, Pauline Haworth and her husband Garry of Manchester, Mark Lemay and his wife Camille of Warner, Lorraine Paris and her husband Edward of Manchester, Michael Lemay and his wife Amy of Somersworth, David Lemay and his wife Elizabeth of Culpeper, VA, and his sister and best friend, Diane Maguire of Hooksett; his grandchildren, Zoey Andrijanic and David Alvarado; his former spouse and friend, Barbara Lemay of Hooksett; his beloved sphinx cat, Ming; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Patricia Coons and Lynda Lemay-Loughlin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5-7PM with a Memorial Service at 7PM.
