Robert Loesch

Robert Loesch, 83, of North East, peacefully passed away on Friday January 16, 2026 surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 26, 1942 in Erie, PA to the late Clifford and Sophie (Tomasik) Loesch.

Bob graduated from Harborcreek High School in 1960 and Gannon University.

He worked at General Electric for 30 years in the finance department.

Bob enjoyed Gannon Mens Basketball, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Guardians, golfing, and bowling.

He was a member of St. Gregory Church in North East.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-laws; and brother-in-laws.

He is survived by his wife Rose Mary (Siciliano) Loesch whom he married April 28, 1973; children, Roberta Hutchinson (Rick) and Melissa Orton (Mark); sister, Patricia (Loesch) Kane; grandchildren, Garrette, Brooke, Brady and Chase Whitmeyer, and Carson Orton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Thursday January 22nd from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a prayer service on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gregory Church, 50 South Pearl Street, North East.
