Robert Leo Loonsfoot, cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the age of 74. Robert was born on July 29, 1951 to his parents, Ernest and Mary Jane Loonsfoot in Marquette, Michigan.
Robert will be lovingly remembered by his children; Robert E. (Deanna) Loonsfoot, Amy (William) Shea, and Chet (Lindsey) Loonsfoot. He leaves behind a legacy in his grandchildren: TJ Harrington, Justin Harrington, Emily Davis, Bailey Robinson, Kelley Shea, Kaitlyn Shea, Brianna Shea, Easton Loonsfoot, Grace Loonsfoot, and his great-grandson, Levi Davis. He is also survived by his siblings; Jean (Russ) Wierringa, Allen (Rayetta) Loonsfoot, Rosanne Petznik, Vicki Franks, Wayne (Florence) Loonsfoot, Karen Selby, Cynthia (Jerry) Curtis, Michael (Rhonda) Loonsfoot, Christine Loonsfoot, Timothy (Kelly) Loonsfoot, and Julie Murray, who will forever cherish the memories of their brother.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mary Jane Loonsfoot, his son, Cliff Leo Loonsfoot, and his ex-wife, Sandra Loonsfoot.
Robert was a man of the outdoors, with a deep love for fishing and hunting. He cherished his frequent trips to the casino, where he would often find luck, camaraderie, and joy.
In honoring Robert's wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date, where stories will be shared, laughter will be heard, and love will be remembered. Arrangements are entrusted to Crandell Funeral Home - White Cloud Chapel.
