Robert Maddison

Robert Edward Maddison, age 83, passed away on March 14, 2026 at his home under the loving care of his family. He was born on March 2, 1943 in Jackson, Michigan to his parents, the late James and Doris Maddison.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael; and his in-laws, Clarence and Virginia Pahl.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Linda Maddison; children, Cameron (Suzanne) Maddison and Tisha (David) Wowianko; grandchildren, Kyle Maddison (Alicia), Ciara Maddison (Ryan Curtis), Brock Wowianko, Cameron Maddison (Corinne Lavaty), Josh Wowianko, Hunter Maddison, Noah Wowianko, and Wyatt Wowianko; great-grandchildren, Payton Maddison, Lincoln Maddison, Benjamin Maddison, Beatrice Wowianko, Kylee Maddison, Aster Curtis, and Edward Maddison; sister, Carola Maddison and her family; brother, James Maddison; brother-in-law, Harold E. Vincent and his family; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a flight mechanic from 1962 to 1966. He also enjoyed serving his many customers as an electrical salesman for many years.

He had a lifelong passion for classic cars, especially Chevrolet Corvettes. Robert enjoyed attending car shows and sharing his love of automobiles with fellow enthusiasts.

Above all, Robert was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who truly loved his family. He was extremely family-oriented and cherished the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and his remains will be interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
