Kristi Saenz

Kristi Louise Saenz, age 79, of Rives Junction, passed away on March 6, 2026, under the loving care of her family. She was born on May 22, 1946, in Elkhart, Indiana, to her parents, the late Paul and Jean Hargesheimer.

Kristi is survived by her loving husband, Hugo Saenz; her five children, Brice, Beth, Brooke, Adam, and Colin; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kyle, Ashley, Mitchell, Marshall, Emma, Alya, Ella, Alaric, and Thorin; great-grandchildren, Elias, Levi, and Luna; siblings, Karen Witek, Terry Hargesheimer, and Denise Grostik; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kim Hargesheimer.

Kristi proudly served her country in the United States Army alongside her husband, Hugo. She was an amazingly creative and artistic woman who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, all manner of crafts, and decorating her home for every season. With determination and talent, she seemed able to make nearly anything she set her mind to. She passionately cared for and loved all her cats.

Known for her selfless nature, Kristi consistently put others before herself. She had a generous heart and a remarkable ability to forgive, love, and support those around her through life's challenges. Strong-willed and determined, she faced life with resilience and always worked to accomplish the goals she set for herself.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Kristi's life may be held at a later date. Her family will forever remember her creativity, strength, and the deep love she shared with those around her.
