Robert Lee "Bob" May Jr.

Robert L .May, Jr. (Bob) 83 years old of Enola, PA, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Born on July 8,1942. He was the son of the late Robert and Rose May (Guerrieri). He was also preceded in death by his young daughter Penny Lee. Bob was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be deeply missed.

He is survived by the love of his life and his high school sweetheart Liz May, Daughter Robin Hewitt (Bill), Sister Anne Horton (Jim), Granddaughter Brooke Ayala (Benny), Grandson Kyle Maxwell (Amanda), Granddaughter Aliyah Hewitt and Fiance Lance Ritter. Great Grandsons Dylan, DJ, and Bryson Maxwell. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a graduate of East Pennsboro High School Class of 1960. He played on the undefeated, unscored upon and untied 1959 football team. Bob was the first PeeWee football coach at EPYAL coaching for many years before going on to coach Pony football. Bob also coached EPYAL and Teener baseball for many years. Throughout Bob's years of coaching he made a huge impact on so many young boys' lives.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Central PA for the wonderful compassionate care they gave Bob during his illness with a special thank you to Mindy, Lauren and Samantha.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Central PA or Vibrant Christian Church 1755 Lambs Gap Road, Mechanicsburg PA, 17050.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Bob.
