Robert McCabe Obituary

Circleville Robert E. McCabe, age 87, of Circleville, OH, passed away on September 25, 2025. Robert was born in Clarksburg, OH on April 17, 1938, to the late John and Julia (Golden) McCabe. Robert was married to the late Gloria (Flesher) McCabe for 56 years. A graduate of Frankfort High School, Robert worked as the Service Manager for Clifton Motor Sales for 24 years and served his community as a Wayne Township Trustee for 26 years. He faithfully attended the Ashville Church of Christ in Christian Union.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria; his son, Michael McCabe Sr.; grandson, Michael McCabe Jr; sister-in-law, Rosalie McCabe; and daughter-in-law, Margie McCabe; as well as several brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his brother, John McCabe; son, Roger Lee McCabe; daughter, Karen (Rocky) Ford; grandchildren, Michael Manson (Tiffany Telcher), Haleigh Manson and Matthew Todd; great-grandchildren, Karsin, Able, Eden, Ryder and Gavin; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Robert's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private visitation, for immediate family, will be held on Tuesday, September 30. Burial will take place privately at Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort, OH. Arrangements and care of the family have been entrusted to Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, OH 43103.
