Robert Quinn McClure lived a life of hard work, generosity, and quiet craftsmanship. Born and raised in Tennessee, Robert made Cleveland his lifelong home, building deep roots in both his family and his community. Robert's gift for fixing things began early, working as an electrical apprentice alongside his father. His early years also reflected his love of the land, he was an active and proud member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA), where he grew and showed award-winning cattle. These early experiences shaped not only his skills but also his strong work ethic and appreciation for community.

A proud and dedicated employee of the Tennessee Valley Authority, Robert spent many years working on projects that strengthened the region and touched countless lives. His work contributed to efforts like Benton Dam and other TVA initiatives that brought power, water management, and infrastructure improvements to communities across theTennessee Valley. He took great pride in knowing that his labor helped keep the lights on, homes warm, and towns growing. His TVA career reflected not just his amazing attention to details, but also his commitment to building things that would last for generations.

Outside of work, Robert's true calling was helping others. If a neighbor had a car that wouldn't start, a machine that wouldn't run, or a tool that needed fixing, Robert was there. For decades, his garage door was always open. He had a rare ability to look at something broken, whether it was an old car, a piece of furniture, a worn-down piece of equipment, or even a person who had lost their way, and see hidden potential. For many years, Robert and his late wife, JoAnn Pullen McClure, shared a life full of love, laughter, and projects. They were an inseparable team, collecting antiques, "thrift picking," restoring classic automobiles, and turning cast-offs into treasures that brought joy to others. One of their proudest shared achievements was the building of a beautiful cabin back in the woods near Ocoee, Tennessee. With every nail and piece of board hauled in the back of a pickup truck, they built it with their own hands, trip after trip, until it stood complete. It was truly a labor of love-crafted not only for themselves, but to be enjoyed by their family and shared with others for many years.

Together, they also cultivated a beautiful garden, pouring special care into their tomatoes, which they grew in abundance and shared freely with family, friends, and neighbors. Robert's life was rich not just in the things he built, but in the relationships he nurtured. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Those who knew Robert will remember his attention to details, his helping hands, and the way he could breathe new life into old things. His legacy will live on in the many lives he touched, the projects he completed, and the countless moments of kindness he shared.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Amanda McClure; his sister, Denise Guthrie; and his wife, JoAnn Pullen McClure. Survivors include daughters Jodi (Zack) Westfield, Angela (Barry) Mathis, and Muffin Womac; sister Gwen (James) Peters; brother Dale McClure; grandchildren Ashley Westfield, Ava Westfield, Kaitlyn (Austin) Duncan, Bradley (Victoria) Mathis, Blake (Kristen) Trentham, and Tucker Trentham; great-grandchildren Addy Phillips, Anna Phillips, Arietta Trentham and Lakelynn Parker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
