Robert E McComas

Robert Eugene "Gene" McComas, age 89, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away June 28th, 2023. He was born January 20th, 1934, to the late Madge (Prevo) and Robert Lee McComas in Brookings, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Margaret Marie; his brothers, Junior, Henry, Ray, and Raymond; his sister, Lind; grandsons Randy and Marty Jr.; his great-grandson, Abram Shane; son-in-law, Donald; and daughter-in-law, Tammy.
He is survived by his sons, Martin (Brenda), Frank (Sheila), and Mark McComas; his daughter, Nellie Brown; his sister, Glenda Smith; his brother, Jay McComas; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Shane, Esther, Timothy, Katrina, Melissa, Gloria, Rebekah, and Tabetha; thirty-three great-granchildren, Adria, Drew, Adam, Aaron, A.J., Abigail, Austin, Olivia, Noah, Samuel, Seth, Nuria, Kaylynn, Elijah, Silas, Hunter, Kiersten, Amy, Shea, Elizabeth, Matthew, Emma, Cheyenne, Wyatt, Mattie, Michael, Erica, Kaitlin, Alicia, Brenda Rose, Carla, and Amanda; and fourteen great-great-grandchildren, Sophia, Titus, Forest, Unity, Sebastian, Archer, Violet, Pheobe, Glory Ann, Nathan, Savannah, Autumn, Anestasia, and Alexander; along with numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation for Robert McComas will be from 1:00PM to 2:00PM on Monday, July 3rd, at Christian Tabernacle Church, located in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. His funeral service will follow shortly after at 2:00PM. Internment will be at Eagles Rest Cemetery in Wirth, Arkansas.
