Robert Percy McKeever, 81, of Mifflin, passed away Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown.

Born March 12, 1944, in Wilmington, DE, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Dorothy (Noden) McKeever.

He is survived by one daughter, Roseanna C. McKeever, six grandchildren, Nick Scott, Brittney Scott, Sianne Gahagan, Christopher Gahagan, Mylea McKeever, and Esani Clayton, three great-grandchildren, Camden Crawford, Cole Miller Jr., and Quentin Miller, one sister, Eileen Fleming, and one brother, Steven McKeever.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ratana "Orn" (Malthong) McKeever on Jan. 31, 2021, one daughter, Doreen "Dory" Q. McKeever on Sept. 11, 2015, and one sister, Margaret McKeever.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Viet Nam.

He was a metal worker with the Merchant Marines and was proud of sailing around the world six times.

He enjoyed reading, watching football, racing, and classic westerns and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was loyal and hardworking and could always be counted on.

A memorial service to honor his life will be held in the near future.
