Robert Carl McMunn

Robert C. McMunn, affectionately known as "Bob", "R.C." and "Bobby", age 37, of Cheswick, passed away on August 25, 2025. Born September 4, 1987, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Alma McMunn. Bob's fiancée, Emily Durnell, stood by his side as a loving partner, sharing in his dreams and adventures. He was deeply passionate about Volkswagens and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Though he had a love/hate relationship with working in auto body, Bob's skill in the trade was undeniable. A phenomenal cook, Bob was well known for his skill in smoking meat, a talent that made him the star of many gatherings. An animal lover through and through, his fur babies Dudley, Wesley, and Rambo were more than pets, they were family. He cherished his time spent at the Springdale Sportsman Club, where he could be found enjoying the company of friends. His ability to make people laugh was a gift that he shared generously, never missing an opportunity to bring a smile to someone's face. He will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten. In addition to his fiancée, Emily Durnell, he is survived by his best friends, Jimmy and Derek, who were more like brothers to him, along with many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd; 930 Center Avenue Blawnox, PA, 15238. Funeral service will be on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:00 am, at the funeral home.
