Robert Mellichamp Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert T. and Myrtle Mellichamp. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Joan Mellichamp, his only son Thomas Mellichamp, and his only sister Marsha Holton.
A loving husband and father Robert was a printer and military historian who published two books on the subject. A member of the Civil Air Patrol, the Kiwanis Club, and many other groups he also served in the US Army and was proud of his service.
Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Graveside services will be held at Crossroads Cemetery, near Tullos, Louisiana on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 10:30 AM under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
