Robert Membrila Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Cesar Membrila.
Born on Aug 24, 1959 to Robert and Martha Membrila in Tucson AZ, he moved to Westminster CA at a young age with his 3 sisters and 1 brother. He graduated from Westminster High School and shortly after began his family and career. His family began with 2 boys Robert and Jeffrey and his career began at IBM where he became an IT whiz. After IBM, he took an executive position at Countrywide Home Loans where he met his loving wife Doris Membrila and expanded his family with another son Joseph and a daughter Victoria. His greatest joy in this life was his family that had grown with 3 grandchildren, Ronin, Gabriel, and TJ. His second home was Cabo San Lucas where loved making memories with his family and friends. He gave it all this past year during his fight with cancer enduring chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation. Never showing us any of the pain we were sure he was going through, but instead maintaining his big smile and in his fashion, trying to help everyone around him. He succumbed to his cancer on July 17, 2024 at 6:08pm surrounded by his children, brother and sisters and his loving wife whom he is survived by.

I worked with Bob at Kaiser in 2023 on a project. He was such a kind and amazing person. He was the go to subject matter expert person. Sending love and light to the entire family. He will be missed

Bobby, Brian and I met when the two young bucks joined IBM. Bobby was the sharpest mind in analyzing computer failures. We became friends, instantly. To start the day out right we met a few times a week for a Racquetball game before work. Bobby usually beat me, except twice, and he never let me forget it, although I was 20 years his senior.
