Robert Miller

Robert Miller (“Jr”), 55, of Media, PA and Siesta Key FL, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Florida in the company of his wife and 2 dogs. Born in Ridley Park, PA to Joan and Robert Miller, Rob was a car fanatic and enjoyed refurbishing and maintaining his car collection with his father by his side. He was well-known in the automotive sales industry, where he owned and operated several businesses, including Miller Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Springfield Mitsubishi, Springfield Volkswagen, and Portage Chevrolet. Throughout his life, Rob helped many people succeed and generously gave back to the community without seeking recognition. He was happy to be in a position to help others. However, Rob was happiest when spending time with his family. In the days leading up to his untimely death, Robert was enjoying the fresh air and warmer weather of Siesta Key alongside his wife and soulmate, Diane. Robert is predeceased by his beloved mother, Joan. He is survived by his wife Diane (née’ Turnier), his father Robert Miller, brother David Miller (Christine), daughter Demi Shields (Mike), twin grandsons Tripp Gregory and Rory Robert, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing after 9 AM on Monday, February 7th, 2022 at Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood PA, followed by a service beginning at 11 AM. Interment at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Robert’s name to the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross.
