Robert "Rob" Glenn Millikan of Temple, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at the age of 74. He was born on January 26, 1951, in Lamesa, Texas to Robert Glenn Millikan Sr. and Peggy Speck Millikan. He graduated from Lamesa High School. He also was a graduate of Mary Hardin Baylor (Summa Cum Laude) with a Bachelors in Music. He retired as a Music Minister and Teacher who had written many bible studies. He currently was attending Trinity Church in Temple.
He is preceded in death by his late wife Sheila Millikan and parents Robert and Peggy Millikan.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Nona R. Millikan (Maiden: Williams) who he married on July 2, 2006, in Temple, Texas. He is also survived by his children; Justin Millikan and wife Tabitha, Melissa Bell and husband Stanley, Michael Matlock, Sheila Frazier, Melanie Mebane and husband Dale, and Eduardo Salazar; Grandchildren; Joshua Millikan, Emily Millikan, Rachel Millikan, Heather Somers and husband Joshua Somers, Micah Matlock, Kayla Smith and husband Kevin Harris, Dustin Mebane, Amber Betak and husband Justin; Great Grandchildren; Brady Preston, Braden Mebane, Sophia Somers, Kale Harris, Peyton Betak, Payslee Mebane, Pecos Mebane; brother Gary Millikan and wife Cindy, sister; Marsha Millikan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, January 9th, 2026 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton, with Pastor Daren Rich of Nolan Valley Baptist Church officiating.
Rob Selflessly gave the gift of life through organs and tissue donation facilitated by Southwest Transplant Alliance.
