Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services - BeltonRobert Ziolkowski, a beloved family man and dedicated member of his community, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on July 30, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Robert led a life characterized by love for his family and unwavering faith in God.
Throughout his career, Robert worked diligently for Allen Bradley, where he made significant contributions to the company and his colleagues. His work ethic was renowned, reflecting his commitment to excellence and a sense of responsibility in all his endeavors. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Robert proudly served in the U.S. Army, completing a tour in Germany following the Korean War. This experience shaped him into a disciplined and resilient individual, traits that he carried throughout his life.
Robert was an active member of the First Assembly of God in Fort Myers, Florida, where he found joy and fellowship among his church community. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and relationships. He took great pleasure in life’s simple joys, particularly golfing and boating, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and enjoy the company of others.
He is survived by his loving son, Dean Ziolkowski of Rhinelander, WI, and his cherished daughter, Karen Wise of Cape Coral, FL. Robert's legacy also extends to his brothers, Tom and Jack, and his sister, Carol. He was a proud grandfather to Joseph Ziolkowski and his wife Jackie, as well as Rainah Ziolkowski. Robert delighted in the company of his great-grandchildren, Presley, Kinsley, Elijah, Colin, and Diedra, who brought him immense joy and pride.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue Ziolkowski, whose memory he cherished throughout his life.
A memorial service to honor Robert’s life will be held on February 18, 2026, at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton, Texas. The service will commence at 10:00 AM, and family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched the hearts of many.
Robert leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and a deep appreciation for life that will continue to inspire all those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
