Robert Joseph Moffatt was born July 1, 1949, to Robert and Thelma Moffatt in Portland, Oregon. The oldest of his siblings, he has his brother Mark (deceased), and his sister Debbie, living in Portland. Bob attended schools in Portland, graduated 1967, and joined the US Army. After his honorable discharge in 1970, Bob drifted for a few years. Coming to Wenatchee with his dog, Bear, he met some young Christian guys who shared Jesus with him. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and his life was drastically changed. Bob put down roots. Got a job. Met a young lady, Anna Louise Stanfield, and married her June 5, 1977. Three children were born to them, Shannon Michelle, Gabriel Joseph, and Sheila Anne (Beieler). Life now revolved around church activities and his family. Bob loves fishing, and for a while, had a boat to fish in! But lost it due to his wife and kids using it to explore lakes and ponds while he fished. Then Bob bought a horse, and soon was caught up in 4-H trail rides, camping in the dirt with kids and horses, and some fishing. Bob started working for Treetop Inc. in 1983 and retired in 2010. After retirement, Bob suffered several health challenges which greatly slowed him down, but he lived for family times and his Lord. Bob's pride and joy were his three kids, eight grandkids, and five great-grandchildren. Bob went home to be with the Lord August 26, 2025, after saying goodbye to his family and being released into the arms of his Savior. See you soon, beloved husband, dad, and grandpa. Psalms 116:15.
