Cody loved the outdoors and working on his farm. He was an avid hunter, bow fisherman and beekeeper. He graduated MCHS in 1965 and retired from Arlington Property Management Co. in Birmingham, AL.
He is survived by his wife, Shelia Mohon; daughter Connie Mohon Smith (Terry); grandchildren Victoria Mohon, Skyler Smith and Cadence Smith; great-granddaughter Sydalee Mohon.
Cody was preceded in death by his son, Donnie Mohon; mother, Ida Sue Smith Pickens and stepfather Bobby Joe Pickens; father Robert E Mohon, Sr.; brother Danny W. Mohon; sisters Rita Sue Mohon Ward and Marsha Ann Mohon.
