Robert Joseph Moncrief (“Joe”), age 68, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, in Dade City, Florida. He was born on February 11, 1958, in Macon, Georgia, to Emory James Moncrief and Nettie Lou Durden.
Joe grew up alongside his siblings, James Moncrief, the late Jeffrey Moncrief (d. 2012), and the late Frances Moncrief (d. 2022). He spent his working years as a door manufacturer, taking pride in hard work and craftsmanship.
A lover of football and racing, Joe was a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers and never missed an opportunity to watch a game. Joe was known for his sharp humor and his ability to make people laugh- he enjoyed good-natured banter and “talking a little trash,” which became one of the ways he connected with everyone around him. Beneath the humor, Joe had a big heart and would do anything in the world for his family. Some of his favorite moments were spent working on race cars with his sons, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Joe is survived by his children:
· Bobby Moncrief (wife Heather Moncrief)
· Cynthia Daniels (husband James Daniels)

· Tonya Moncrief (partner Phillip Roach)
