Robert Leslie Monroe, Jr., 72, passed away peacefully at Gilcrest Hospice in Columbia, MD on December 23, 2025.
Burial and memorial service will take place on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD
He is survived by his children, Robert Monroe, III, and Adam Monroe, brother Roger Decker, sisters, Phyllis Etters, Cora Bowers and Marilyn Duley.
Robert will be remembered for his lengthy career as a carpenter. His sense of humor and laughter were a gift to everyone that knew him.
