Robert W. Morgan

Robert W. Morgan, age 63 from Hokes Bluff, AL went to be with his heavenly father Tuesday, August 6, 2024 surrounded by his family knowing this is not "goodbye", its only a "see you later".
Funeral services will be held 6pm Friday, August 9, 2024 at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 4pm until time of service. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery.
Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Annie Pipkin, Rueben and Myrtle Morgan; and father in love, Bob Aultman.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Fran Aultman Morgan; children, Andrew (Lindsey) Morgan, Hannah (Jeff) England, Bethany (Randy) Lipscomb; grandchildren, Anderson, Brody, and Greyson Morgan, Caroline and Alexis England, and Rubie Anders; parents, Grover and Chris Morgan; mother in love, Jo Aultman; siblings, Stacy (Kevin) Morgan, Brent (Karen) Morgan, Susan (Robert) DeCarrera; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Robert was born September 24, 1960 to Grover and Chris Morgan. He was a graduate of Pelham High School in 1978. He attended Auburn University and UAB. He later joined the United States Marine Corps. In 1985 he married the love of his life, Fran Aultman Morgan. They built a beautiful life together while being blessed with 3 beautiful children and 6 grandchildren. Robert had a beautiful tenor voice and could play the piano. He would play and sing at home and in the church choir.
Robert retired from Honda Manufacturing and then went to work at ER Towing and Recovery for his son. Robert was an avid Auburn football fan and Hokes Bluff Eagle fan. He loved watching his grandchildren play ball. He spent many hours with his kids growing up and grandchildren out in the yard practicing ball.
Pallbearers will be Jeff England, Randy Lipscomb, Mark Fredrick, Ben Lett, Davy Harcrow, Thomas Hale, Clay Gillilan, and Kevin Fotovich. Honorary pallbearers will be Anderson Morgan, Brody Morgan, Greyson Morgan, employees of ER Towing and Recovery and 6th street neighbors.
