Robert Edward Morgan

Robert Edward Morgan of Portsmouth passed away on July 21 comfortably at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Dover, Delaware to Joyce S. and Francis X. Morgan. Rob spent his youth in many states and schools gaining a diversity of experiences due to his Father's Engineering profession. This led to a diversity of interests in life. A man with a true collector's eye, a passion for snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean including the "Blue Hole" of Belize, and an avid fan of the Boston Celtics.

But the size of Rob's heart and generosity are the most outstanding and memorable traits he demonstrated. Whether assisting his mother and aunt in their later years, to his adoration of animals and their welfare. His Ownership of dogs and cats was a matter of mutual companionship and love.

Rob worked his way up to Director of Document Control in a thirty year career at PSNH.

Rob was preceded by his mother and father and sadly, a younger brother Matt, a nephew Andrew. An older brother, Richard, and nephew Matt will continue his memory. Rob is truly missed.

Services: A time of visitation will be held from 12pm – 1pm with a memorial service to immediately follow at 1pm on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home – Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad Street, Portsmouth. Interment will be held privately.
