Robert Brent Morris

Robert Brent Morris, 62, passed away peacefully at his residence in Guyton, Ga on Tuesday, July 30,2024. He was born on July 29, 1962, in Savannah, Ga and lived most of his life in Guyton. 

Brent LOVED Georgia Football. During football season you could find him cheering on the Bulldogs with his handy dandy UGA cup. He was the best Papa in the history of Papa’s, who absolutely adored his grandchildren. Brent was a kind soul, it didn’t matter who you were, if you treated him with respect, he did the same. He never met a stranger and was always welcoming to everyone. He worked for Evans Delivery for 23 years with his Best Friend, Ronnie Gordon. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Pamela Morris; children, Sarah Harper (Ryan), Vance Morris, Shay Burton (Megan), Kacie Burton and John Burton; brothers, Andy Morris (Kim), and Jimmy Morris; mother, Hilda Freshwater (Gale); and grandchildren, Lyndsey, Gabbi, Chloe, Jordan, Landon B, Madison, Marissa, Landon H, Abrahm and Scarlette.

The family will receive friends from 3:00pm-4:00pm on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 4:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Guyton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Brabham, Terry Brabham, Kenny Brabham, Dell Brabham Sr., Dell Brabham Jr., and Stuart Enslow; and honorary pallbearer, Ronnie Gordon
