Robert J. Muck Appleton, WI – Robert “Bob” Muck passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 5, 2024. Born June 16, 1933, in Angelica, Wi, the son of Frederick and Elda (Bartels) Muck. Bob graduated from the UW Madison in 1956 with masters’ degrees in agronomy and economics. He worked for the Department of Agriculture in Washington DC, which is where he met his wife, Sally Bissette.
Bob accepted a position with Production Credit Association (PCA) and they moved to Appleton, WI and were married in 1959. In 1964, they moved to St. Paul, MN which is where Bob accepted an executive position PCA/Farm Credit Services. Eventually, he and Sally moved back to Appleton in 1981, where he continued to work for PCA until he retired in 1995.
Bob will always be remembered for his kindness, love for his family, quick witted humor, and of course, his passion for the Green Bay Packers.
Bob is survived by his son: Mark (Patti); Grandchildren: Daniel (Taylor), Thomas; Sibling Betty Paluso (Dan); many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife: Sally; brother: William (Patricia); parents: Frederick and Elda; and grandparents: Frank and Elizabeth.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held in Appleton, WI at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel, 1595 Oneida St, Menasha WI, 54952. Visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfuneralhomes.com.
